Coppola Car Winner

The winner of Peter Coppola’s exciting and generous sweepstakes, which took place in conjunction with Coppola’s line launch of his new Keratin Concept Collection at the Premiere Orlando Beauty Show in early June, was recently featured on ModernSalon.com.

Japneela Hernandez Martinez, known professionally as Neela Couture, was announced as the grand prize winner of the Coppola Keratin Concept Sweepstakes at the show, winning a brand-new Fiat 500 automobile, as well as a carload full of Peter Coppola products.  The car is wrapped with the Peter Coppola name and has custom-embroidered seats with his name on them.  Additionally, 18 other winners received products ranging from full Peter Coppola Keratin Concept salon intro kits to Keratin Concept Blondest Collections and Keratin Concept blow bar kits.

A video interview with Martinez by Maggie Mulhern of Modern Salon was also included on the website.  The live interview was conducted shortly after Neela found out she won the car – and as you can imagine, excitement ruled the exchange between the two women.

Head to the Tropics with Dragon Fruit!

Did you know that in the 1930’s, lipstick was seen as a symbol of adult sexuality.  Teenage girls believed that lipstick was a symbol of womanhood.  Adults saw it as an act of rebellion.  Many Americans, especially immigrants, did not accept teenage girls wearing lipstick.  A Study in 1937 revealed that over 50% of teenage girls fought with their parents over lipstick.
Today we have all sorts of brands, colors and names of lipsticks, lip shines, lip gloss, and lip gels.
Youngbloods newest lipstick, Dragon Fruit is a highly moisturizing lipstick for those summer days on the beach. Ingredients in this exciting kissably smooth lipstick contain Sunflower Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Vitamin E and Candelilla Wax all ingredients beneficial for chapped, dry skin.
